TourCycle (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with your use of the App. Please read it carefully.

Summary

TourCycle does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal information to us or to any third party. The App does not require account creation, does not use analytics or tracking tools, and does not access your location. All data generated by your use of the App — including workout history — is stored exclusively on your device and, where applicable, in your own Apple Health data store.

Information we do not collect

We do not collect:

• Your name, email address, phone number, or any contact information
• Account credentials of any kind (no account is required to use the App)
• Your precise or approximate location
• Advertising identifiers or data used for behavioral advertising
• Usage analytics, crash reports, or any other telemetry
• Any information through cookies, web beacons, or similar tracking technologies

Health and fitness data (HealthKit)

TourCycle integrates with Apple HealthKit to enhance your workout experience. Specifically, the App may:

• Read your heart rate data during an active workout, to display live heart rate on screen
• Write workout sessions (type, duration, and related metrics) to the Health app, so your TourCycle workouts appear alongside your other fitness activity

This health data:

• Is accessed only with your explicit permission, granted through Apple’s standard HealthKit authorization prompts
• Is used solely to power in-app features (live heart rate display, workout history, Apple Watch companion features)
• Is never transmitted to us, to any TourCycle server, or to any third party — we do not operate servers that receive this data
• Remains under your control at all times via the Settings app (Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → TourCycle), where you can revoke access at any time

In accordance with Apple’s guidelines, health data obtained through HealthKit is never used for advertising, marketing, or other use-based data mining purposes.

Data storage

All data associated with your use of TourCycle — including workout history, settings, and preferences — is stored locally on your device using Apple’s standard on-device storage mechanisms. We do not operate, and have never operated, any backend server, database, or cloud service that receives, stores, or processes your data. If you delete the App, this locally stored data is removed along with it (data separately stored in the Apple Health app is governed by Apple’s own retention and deletion controls).

Children’s privacy

TourCycle is not directed to children under the age of 13, and is intended for a general, adult-oriented fitness audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

In any event, because TourCycle:

• Collects no personal information from any user, regardless of age
• Contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies
• Includes no chat, messaging, social features, or any way to communicate with other users or the public
• Includes no in-app purchases or links to external websites that collect personal information

no personal information is collected, used, or disclosed by the App for any user. If you are a parent or guardian and have concerns about your child’s use of the App, please contact us using the information below.

Third-party services

TourCycle does not integrate with any third-party SDKs, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or external APIs. No data of any kind leaves your device through use of this App.

Your rights and choices

Because we do not collect any personal data, there is no personal data for us to provide, correct, delete, or transfer upon request. Specifically:

• GDPR (European users): We do not process personal data as defined under the General Data Protection Regulation. No lawful basis for processing is required because no processing occurs.
• CCPA/CPRA (California users): We do not sell, share, or collect personal information as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act. We have no record of any personal information to disclose or delete.

If you have HealthKit-related concerns, you can manage or revoke the App’s access at any time through your device’s Settings app, independent of this policy.

Data security

Since no personal data is collected or transmitted by the App, there is no transmission of your data to intercept or server-side breach to occur on our end. Data stored on your device is protected by Apple’s standard device-level security (e.g., device passcode, encryption at rest), which we encourage you to keep enabled.

International users

TourCycle does not transmit data internationally or otherwise, as no data leaves your device. The App may be used in any country/region where the App Store is available, subject to local law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect new features or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
